Morbi has long been famous for its ceramic and clock making industry. In addition to that, the area is slowly being developed as a hub for paper manufacturing industry. Most of these mills are located in the Morbi Taluka; but few like Milano Paper Mill Pvt. Ltd are also located in Wankara Taluka.
Majority of the mills located in Morbi district produces craft papers and packaging materials. However, a few like Fact Paper Mill Pvt. Ltd, Millenium Papers Pvt. Ltd, Soham Papers Pvt. Ltd, Tirthak Paper Mill Pvt. Ltd and Milano Paper Mill Pvt. Ltd (located in Wankara) also produce duplex board. It may not be out of place to note that Kraft paper has nothing to do with art and craft. Its name has been derived from the German word for strong. These papers are little more expensive than ordinary paper.
